SUMMARY of September 25, 2007 Board meeting

Dear Fellow BSBCCA Members,

The following summary of the September 25, 2007 Board Meeting was approved at the Board meeting of December 3, 2007

1. The latest of the septic system appeals still is pending in the Supreme Court. Mediation should be scheduled with the next couple of months.

2. The Lovegreen case is status quo with discovery continuing.

3. The Board was informed that our Restaurant Chef, Tony and the Assistant Chef, Matt have both decided to leave Bonnet Shores Beach Club. Our Manager will begin a search for replacements for next season.

4. Preliminary numbers on the restaurant indicate that we should finish off the season in the black.

5. Off-season projects are now beginning to take focus, and it appears that our major capital improvement project this off-season will be painting the facility,

6. Geo Deck is not performing as well as anticipated and the Board is seriously contemplating returning to the use of wood for our primary decking material.

7. Off-season employees at the Club will be the Manager, Assistant Manager, Office Manager, and 4 Maintenance Personnel. There are a number of projects planned for the Maintenance Personnel which we can accomplish ourselves for the cost of materials. One of their primary areas of focus this winter will be preparing the facility for the painting contractor in the spring.
