Dear Fellow BSBCCA Members,

The following summary of the March 11, 2008 Board Meeting was approved at the Board meeting of April 2,  2008

1.       The President reported to the Board that settlement negotiations with the Developer are
ongoing and productive.  The possibility of resolving all remaining disputes between the parties,
including a buy-out of the Development Rights, is being discussed.  The President told the
Board that he is optimistic.
2.       The Board discussed the Swim Lesson Policy.  Over the past couple of seasons, the Board
has had several complaints from Owners who were unable to schedule swim lessons for
their children.  After lengthy discussion, the Board decided that this season, Owners would
be given priority in booking swim lessons.  Only Owners will be allowed to book swim
lessons during the preseason and continuing for two (2) weeks after the Club opens.
After that time, any member will be allowed to book swim lessons.
3.       An Owner requested that the Board consider allowing surfing lessons at the Club.
The Board is open to the possibility and decided to contact the owner for additional
information before making a final decision.
4.       The Board voted unanimously to continue to use the debit card for Bonnet Bucks
and to increase the value of each individual card to Thirty-Five dollars ($35.00).
The new dollar value will reduce the number of cards needed by one-half.
5.       The Board discussed establishing an “Express Lane” for members who process
their preseason paperwork by mail.  It was the consensus of the Board that this is
a good idea, and Michelle was instructed to work out the details and make a proposal
to the Board.
6.       The Manager reported that staffing for the restaurant is proceeding on schedule
and that contact had been made with Johnson & Wales University
as a possible resource for staffing.  A new Head Chef has been hired for the restaurant.
Management continues to explore ways to reduce the noise level in the restaurant.
The Entertainment Schedule for the coming season was finalized and several special
events are being explored.

Respectfully submitted,
BSBCCA Board of Directors
